i had a pair off pigeon lay 2 eggs 1 of the eggs they broke the other 1 they sat on it for around 14 days and cum off it i waited 3 days but they neva sat back on the egg i had another pair who had 4 day old chicks i put the egg under them yesterday the egg was chipped i could c the chick moving inside but wen Ive checked it today the egg has a small hole and the chick is missing Ive searched the nest box's and its not in there,could the other pigeons have ate it.has this eva happened to any 1

not sure mate if they are older birds its unuseal for them to leave eggs u might have something in the loft ie rat or something just an idea

ive checkd for holes but its solid ive got chicks and eggs in boxes closer to the floor all of them seem fine this 1 was about 5ft off the floor plus the other chicks that where in that nest box are still there

id still set a trap or two around loft of course not where birds can get at them just to be sure as u know some of them little beggers can get in any where
