    hawks and you

Post by maid08 on Fri Mar 06, 2009 8:09 pm

well today they are hunting around here it made me wonder why they dont hunt the birds in village is it because they are dirty and not good eating or because they are wiser than our pampered birds and also its time year the strags start hanging round our lofts i had one today a mate had one wonder why????????

Had a Peregrine go into my race cocks today but birds saw it and scattered, so no strike. I watched it all happen helpless. Feckin things. Will have to set my trap up tomorrow.

If put some lit candles under an orange skin it looks like huge owl eyes and this scares them away from your loft area
