I have been taking my youngbirds traing for about a month. Started at 5 miles then 10,then 20,then 30 then 55 which is about the place of the first youngbird race. All birds beating me home. I then took them 80 miles to the second race point but when I got home none were back. it was 3hrs before the first came home and the rest that came back one at a time. I got 14 of the 31 birds I sent back. Should I send the birds ferther or rest them for the first race in 10 days?

hi bob i would give em 1 more about 4-5 days before the race just to keep it fresh for them i can only train mine 9 miles then its strait across the water with them so realy need to keep mine on thier toes
