    I use potasium permanganate in the bath water.

    great for killing lice and things.

    anyone else use it???

    yip pigeon men have been conned and sidetraked with all the synthetic crap thats on the

    market now. Far to complicated nowadays. Im all for medicines at the wright time prescribed by the right people. Then test them out hard, if they succume again

    they dont have the constitution required for top pigeons

    Ive never used it Harry, I use Natural bath salts and when they had the nasties i used a sachet of Chloracarb.
    I kid you not ive not see another nasty since.The cost was £5.95 for the sachet.

    But if this stuff your on about works i will give it a go. Where do i get it from and whats the price?

    you can get it from meditech. midlands, its cheap last long time and none toxic,

    birds can drink it as well do no harm. would not let my birds drink chlorocarb in bath

    get in in small jars from most chemists, I also use on cuts on my dogs, and after removing puppy dewclaws, good antiseptic properties

    I bath them by hand, so they dont get to drink it ya Dafty. Then when all are done i put the remaing water into a spray bottle and lightly spray baskets and nest boxs and any where else that nasties can thrive.

    Think it is good that they drink some as it is an old remedy for fungal infections. I remember using it as a kid for athletes foot but it turned the feet a brown colour (like Lawrence of Arabia's feet) He He!
