never had time for the fancy birds, as around my way, it was only factory type we kept, or railway bridge type ,with big red eyes or red feet if you seen one with a white flight you spent days following it to see where it roosted at night and that could lead you up a bridge 100 feet up and no safety net

Used to catch strags with bread, a basin and stick attached to string and your right if a bird with some white came along it was treasure. Caught a wee archangel once and it was a nice wee doo. Memories, Ahaaaaaaaa!!!
